We love embroidery here at STUDIOO!! Embroidery is the embellishment of a surface, mostly fabric and it usually makes the garment more valuable, more sustainable and more beautiful.
Since there are many different kinds of embroidery and thousands of thousands of materials with which you can embellish fabrics the first step was to understand the design concept and vision of the designer. We collected inspirations and then started testing on samples at our small indian embroidery studio. Together with the artisans we chose bead by bead and stitch by stitch on how to bring this design in line with the designers vision. Once we have found the technique and design we have to scale and place the embroidery on the pattern and the garment.
This was a close collaboration with the designer himself and we went step by step together with the artisans through the process. You could see the result in Paris during the SS24 show season and in London Showrooms in 2025.

Artisanal embroidery is a timeless craft, rich with cultural heritage and endless techniques to explore from around the world. From the intricate zardozi of India to the delicate whitework of France, the bold Otomi embroidery of Mexico, and the storytelling stitches of Palestinian tatreez, each tradition carries history, identity, and artistry. Beyond its aesthetic beauty, embroidery is a skill passed down through generations, embodying the patience and precision of the human hand. In a world of fast production, preserving these techniques is essential—not just to honor craftsmanship but to ensure that these rich traditions continue to inspire and thrive in contemporary fashion and design.
